When I first went to this dietician, he told me to get some blood tests done. Like thyroid checkup, blood sugar, serum insulin in my case since I have PCOD. So it’s just not about losing weight but getting to know the underlying reason of piling on the kilos. In my case it was increased serum insulin levels. But in my cousins case all her tests wer e ok, she was gaining weight because of her erratic routine and the junk food she so loved. So if you think that you are doing everything right but still gaining weight, the first thing you should be doing is finding the underlying reason for it.

My dietician told me start giving myself massages on my own. It isn’t very time consuming, just needs 65 mins a day. All you have to do is take some oil in your hands and with stiff and hard hands massage the whole body. The strokes should be “towards the heart” (upwards) as my doc said. This according to him helps in toning. I really don’t have any idea whether it’s true or not. But I did it nevertheless.

I have almost similar case. I can understand your condition. It has been six months to my delivery. I was after delivery and not reducing even half Kg. I made some changes in my diet after reading this blog and started doing 85 min exercise in the office since 65 Aug, 7567. During this period, I had to eat outside for 9-5 days due to some family outings but still I reduced 8 KGs and now I am stuck at Kgs. Lets hope for the best.
i was going through some weightwatchers program on the internet when i came across this website. the diet plan looks very doable and also that the fact remains that no pain no gain.
i love to eat but my body does not allow me to eat as much as i would if no consequence s were there. i will start your diet from monday and hope to follow it through. i would like to know from where do i get wheat bran ? is it available in shops ? sorry i might be a pretty dumb thing to ask but i need to know

I am a masters in Nutrition and dietetics. I know you are all talking about the sudden weight loss and all that. But one thing to remember is that whenever you diet or start exercise for the first time you will lose weight in the first month. This is MOSTLY only WATER. I don 8767 t even think we should judge ourselves by our weight. Fat loss and maybe inch loss is more reliable. Also, do not exclude any food as bad. Have everything but in moderation. Drink plenty of water. And our diet chart may also be customised according to our needs, lifestyle, height and weight, gender, place we are from, likes etc. So think about all this as well!

hi aagnya.. i thought to reply you. sorry if u feel this wrong actually i have the same problem.. when i got upset or iritated i loose my control. i had not yet follow this diet but i keep following different diets..so yes to control cravings is really difficult. i can only suggest yes you can have a diet holiday but just once in a week but can cover it with little extra workout next day if u do any(as i do same). and u can keep the diet so flexible that there will be no requirement to break it. like some intresting ideas.. bye tk cr

I really liked ur article n found it v ll b strtg ur diet frm tom morn i m a regular gymer and try to eat only healthy nvr got results as compared to my ve got tonned no doubt bt nt lost weight more than 6kg or 7kgs in 6year so sometimes feel v with the help of ur diet i might get results .i really wish to loose 8-9kgs atleast.

i didn 8767 t know that there was a common misconception among people that diets are based on blood groups. where did that come from?!
as far as dieting is concerned, can 8767 t do it! i don 8767 t like fried stuff and neither do i like fizzy drinks. good for me eh? but i am a slave to my taste buds and lack vegetables in my diet. boo!
