Why can 8767 t you be honest and tell the girl how you want to treat her so that she will know what to expect?
. give her little surprises, be there for her when she needs you, truly care for her, you will be honest, etc.
Or does this take the mystery away?
Why is it so bad to be a nice person?
Is it boring?
Why do you have to be a 8775 jerk like 8776 ?
Does the woman have a devil inside of her?
This deserves clarification, and thank you for bringing this to my attention. While saying that you are 8775 independent 8776 in a profile is indeed redundant and somewhat cliche, that one word is not going to ruin an otherwise well-written profile. Also, in this example, the write says specifically 8775 independent but far from being a feminist 8776 which pretty much clarifies things and shows that the woman is aware of the negative connotations that might be given to the term.
I 8767 ve already had a little more success. Not really any responses but much more interest. Maybe I could get some pointers and advice I 8767 d greatly appreciate it. You can use my profile as an example as long as my information isn 8767 t displayed. Again thank you for your advice. Online dating is very intimidating but a useful tool especially when someone like myself find it difficult to say these things in person but much easier and more relaxing with a little buffer. Much appreciated!! Your hard work surely has paid off.
While I 8767 m at it, I would add don 8767 t say 8775 my kids are my world, 8776 8775 my kids come first, 8776 etc. Just like coachj said about hookups, don 8767 t state the obvious that your kids come first. Anyone who doesn 8767 t get this isn 8767 t your target demographic anyway, and by stating it overtly, you 8767 re wasting space at best and looking like you 8767 re compensating for some insecurity about not actually being a good parent at worst. As to 8775 my kids are my world 8776 – is that really the message you want to send? I have kids and love them to death and they will always be my first priority over other people if it comes down to it. But, they 8767 re not my whole world. I do have a life independent of my children and I would expect a potential date to as well.
Good point. I like the formal definition of feminism, but let 8767 s face it perceptions, assumptions and connotations are important. They might just be more important that the real definition that few people even know. Any woman who calls herself a feminist is going to create a perception in the men 8767 s eyes a perception of someone to stay away from. Maybe it 8767 s their fault for misunderstanding the term, but that doesn 8767 t change the bottom line. The same would happen to a guy who discloses to a girl that he is a dating coach or that he has a dating blog. She immediately is going to assume that he is a player and he just uses women for information purposes. These assumptions are often completely false and unfounded. That I say from personal experience. 😉
Both of us had tried online dating sites before, with very little success. We just never found anyone that we clicked with, and some of the sites were very hard to use and it was impossible to get any help from the customer service. That's no way to run a business! We met when we met in a chat room on PassionSearch and finally went out on our first date a couple weeks later. Two years later and we've hardly been apart since. It's amazing to think we would never have met each other if it weren't for PassionSearch. Dating used to be horrible until we met off PassionSearch and found something else: love! We recommended the site to friends of ours and there have been two marriages since then. We joke amongst our friends that we're the Bunch!
Thanks for posting this, Radio! I was doing some research this week-end on how to improve my online dating profile, and stumbled on your site. The guide is a great source of inspiration, and it really helps that you 8767 re giving so many examples in there, both of what to do and what *not* to do. I 8767 m going go fill out the worksheet from your guide, and look forward to more online dating success. I 8767 m already getting some ideas how about EmotionsInMotion? Or EcstaticElastic? Hmm, I 8767 ll keep thinking 🙂
This last profile below gets the highest great for both the content and the creativity. It almost sounds like a poem. What I particularly like about this profile is that it shows that a woman hasn 8767 t lost faith in true love and romance but at the same time she is also realistic. The ending of it might sound a bit on a more desperate side, but all in all maybe it 8767 s not such a terrible thing to sound a bit desperate for love and connection if that 8767 s how you really feel.
Any profile that whines about what they are tired of hearing or tired of dealing with is negative. How bout throwing in a sentence or two describing what YOU will bring into THE OTHER PERSON S life. Not lamenting about how awful you ve been treated in the past. After all, we all train others to treat us as they do. One of life s most bitter pills we all must, myself included.
adults are especially likely to flirt online—97% of internet users ages 68-79 have done this before, as have 95% of those ages 75-89. And while adults are also more likely than their elders to look up past flames online, this behavior is still relatively common among older cohorts. Some 76% of internet users ages 95-59, and 65% of those ages 55-69, have gone online to look up someone they used to date.
Natalie says: “When I’m window shopping for guys online, I pass over 99% of them. They have the most ridiculous photos and names. Just look at this guy LoverBoy69 he’s cute but that name (She shakes her head and rolls her eyes in disappointment) I wouldn’t even look at his profile. And look at this – John666897, that’s so plain and what’s with all the numbers?
Oh man, these comments are so confusing, no to mention eye-opening. I 8767 m not really in the dating world, so I am very surprised at how the sexes view each other. But maybe this is why I don 8767 t get many messages on my profile. I am independent, but I 8767 m 87. What else am I supposed to be? That doesn 8767 t make me a feminist or off-putting in any way. I also LOVE to travel. But I am not 8775 into 8776 money. I 8767 m so surprised that some men feel that way. I never knew this! I do love traveling, but I am also entirely frugal. I spent a month in Europe at hostels and friend 8767 s houses. So, I really don 8767 t understand any of this at all. I came here to look up profile advice and I 8767 m more perplexed than ever. haha 🙂
There are myriad of dating sites on which you can cast your line to do a little love fishing. While many of said online matchmaking entities equate “attraction” with a mathematical equation, Nerve Dating (an off-shoot of the sex/dating/culture site, ), has incorporated social media conventions into their platform that allow soulmate searchers to create connections via interactive conversations, rather than simply writing essays, checking off endless lists, and hoping for the best.
&ldquo I know it's cliche, but I really am one of those shy girls who opens up "once you get to know me". I never know what to say on these kind of things but I promise to answer if you send me a message! I just want to meet more people near me and see where things go. I'm definitely open to naughty fun, or I wouldn't be on a site like Xpress, and I'm open to suggestions! Send me a message and let's see what we can get up to!&rdquo

OK Ladies, I am going to give you a male 8767 s perspective: Most guys dont want to know how successful you are or how spontaneous you are. They definitively dont want to know you if you are sarcastic. Most guys want girls who are feminine, nice and sexy. If we want interesting conversation, we can hang out with our buddies. Why not make it sound like you are easy to get to know? We dont like jumping through hoops trying impress. Just keep it simple and sweet.
Cliché – Fact, guys don’t care about clichés on a female’s profile. Unlike women who deflect hundreds of cliche pickup lines, men don’t have that problem. What we see is a short succinct statement that clearly defines what type of girl she is. You can always expand on it if you think it’s so bad. eg. “I generally prefer to stay indoors reading books and watching TV. On occasion I also enjoy outdoor activities such as going to theme parks, camping and going to the beach.”
Good example. I 8767 ve been playing around with different profiles and can never seem to get myself across to women correctly. Seems if I tailor my profile in one direction, I leave out lots of other bits that are important too. I guess there 8767 s no perfect way to get a profile and the best we can do is get others to enjoy the read. I know hen reading women profiles that it 8767 s like paper work at the office, sifting through the same stuff over an over. But every once in a blue moon, a great profile comes my way and it lifts up my spirits. Even if I 8767 m not interested, I still feel compelled to tells them good job.
I new something was up but didn 8767 t know what was wrong let alone how to fix it. I found your site and instantly identified with the username issue. I read the article, watched the video and downloaded your workbook. I started the keyword brainstorming and couldn 8767 t stop thinking about the two examples 8775 Once Upon A Tom 8776 and 8775 Mike in Shining Armor 8776 . I thought about the way most children 8767 s stories end and they lived happily ever after. From that I came up with the username 8775 HowieEverAfter 8776 . Howie is one of my nicknames.
